SUMMARY:CAMPING - June 5th - Family Camping Overnight
DESCRIPTION:Pack 110 is very excited for our final camping overnight of the scouting year at French Creek State Park! Once an industrial complex for the fledgling United States of America\, today French Creek State Park is an oasis for people and wildlife. Straddling the Schuylkill Highlands\, the 7\,730-acre park is the largest block of contiguous forest between Washington D.C. and New York City. French Creek has more than 30 miles of trails for hiking and biking and 2 lakes for fishing and boating. It is beautiful! \n  \nItinerary:\nArrival: 06/05 ~ between 3pm – 4pm\n(If severe weather is threatening\, a go/no-go email will be sent to the Pack by 10:00 am on 06/05) \nSaturday: Set up camp\, explore the site\, go for a hike\, have dinner\, and enjoy a campfire \nSunday: Breakfast and camp breakdown \nDeparture: 06/06 ~ between 9am – 10am \nEquipment:\nCamping challenges scouts to “Be Prepared”. Here’s a quick list of essentials: \n\nTent\nSleeping bags and pillows\nFlashlight\nWarm clothes and your mask (dress in layers!)\nFilled reusable water bottle\nRecommended:\n\nsleeping mat or air mattress\nsmall personal coolers for your tent are also nice if you need a drink in the middle of the night\nfishing pole\, a ball\, or a Frisbee are also good ideas\n\n\n\nDon’t Have a Tent? – The Pack can lend you a tent and\, if needed\, help you set it up (Only 1 Pack tent is available – arrangements must be made in advance with Clif Beam \nCost:\nCost Per Family: $5.00 \nPayment Methods: PayPal (balance or credit card)\, cash\, checks made payable to Pack 110 \nQuestions:\nPlease email Brian Denney with any questions.
