DESCRIPTION:LET’S RACE!!! \nJoin us for an afternoon of outdoor fun\, and be sure to let anyone that is interested in Scouting know that they may attend.  It will be an afternoon of racing and field game fun. \nWe will be setting up the Pinewood derby track early this year and let the kids race!  On stage in the Kenmara Park Amphitheater will have an open exhibition race where the Scouts can bring their pinewood cars from prior years and go head to head with their peers.  For new scouts or scouts that do not have their own cars\, we will have loaner cars available. \nWhile one den is racing on the pinewood track\, the other will be in the field engaging in team building relay races. \nWe hope to see you there. \n  \nCOVID-19 Risk Reduction Plan \n\nAll attendees should perform a self health assessment prior to the event to ensure that they are free from signs of COVID-19 including verifying temperatures are below 100.4 degrees.  If you are unsure\, you should not attend.\nALL ATTENDEES ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A CLOTH FACE MASK AT ALL TIMES. BOTH PARENTS AND SCOUTS.\nHand sanitizer will be provided by the pack\, although we recommend that each scout comes with their own to minimize sharing.\nHigh touch surfaces will be sanitized between Den heats.\nEach event is designed to spread the Scouts out and achieve physical distancing wherever possible.  Please note: keeping the kids apart is difficult and proper distance may not be achieved at all times.
